Canada Day - 2017

The Village of Killaloe is known throughout the Ottawa Valley for our Canada Day 2017 Celebrations.

On June 30th - Music in Station Park in Killaloe starting at 6:00 PM with two MVDHS bands. From 8:00 PM to dusk it's Odd Man Out. Come out and tap your feet to some fabulous music.

July 1st, come out and enjoy:

  • Fishing Derby at Natural Waters Trout Farm - 2410 Mask Road from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. KHR Firemen's Association will pay for one fish per child. Plenty of fun, and the first 150 children will go home with a free fish. All particpants will get a special free goody bag courtesy of the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards.
  • Ducky Race: sponsored by Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Firefighter's Association & St. Casimir's Knights of Columbus - Race starts at 2:00 PM. Tickets available from the KHR Firefighter's Association or St. Casimir's Knights of Columbus.
  • Canada Day Music Bash in St. Andrew's School Yard with the John Priebe Band from 5:30 - 7:30 PM and the Fabulous Heartbeats from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Loggers Chair Auction by Pat Daly of Daly Auction Services will start at 7:30 PM. Proceeds from the auction go to municipal recreation programs.
  • Your MC for the evening is Dai Bassett. Be prepared for a fantastic evening of Canada 150 Celebrations and fun for the whole family!!

Special O Canada performance by Luna and Solana Nordholt at dusk, then the day is topped off by a spectacular fireworks display, the best in the Valley. Rain date for fireworks is July 2nd at dusk.

Round Lake Flotilla - July 22, 2017:

Gather at the Public Boat Launch behind St. Casimir's Church in Round Lake Centre, enjoy the flotilla from your own dock, or take part in this leisurely cruise around beautiful Round Lake.

Santa Claus Parade

Santa comes to Killaloe on December 9, 2017 with the Annual Lions Club Santa Claus Parade. The parade starts at 1:00 PM at the corner of Queen & Keetch Streets in Killaloe, and finishes up with treats for the kids at the Killaloe Lions Hall.
